Today's post gives thanks to the Baroque Period and provides a showcase of its recent emergence in today's modern design. This fall and winter we are seeing this comeback style hit the runways and design/fashion magazines in a BIG way!! We can help but jump on the trend wagon!

The style originated in the 1600's in Rome, Italy and quickly spread across Europe. It is known for its artistic style and exaggerated use of detail to produce drama and grandeur in architecture, painting, dance, literature and music.
