DIY Projects with Planks & Pallets
Have you ever wondered how so many people make such cool projects out of wood? Wooden planks! Planks are just pallets of wood that are easy to find and perfect for simple DIY projects. There are dozens of ways to use wooden pallets, and we have a few projects that are sure to add a special touch to your home décor. To assemble the projects shown, you will need wooden pallets, wood glue, large nails, a wood finishing stain, and tools such as a hammer or drill.
A collage wall is always a good idea if you're trying to fill an empty wall, but why not do a photo ledge instead? Photo ledges give you the option to switch pictures around without having to worry about ruining the whole wall arrangement. The ledge shown in the photo below was constructed from 3 different sized wood planks, and put together with wood glue and screws. Once it was assembled, it was then coated with a finishing stain to give it that driftwood look. For the complete tutorial, checkout the Source link below!

With a few wood pallets, glass bottles, assembling tools, and your favorite flowers, you’ll have the ultimate centerpiece for your dining room table. The source link will give you all the information you need to build it. This next project is a simple way to incorporate wood planks in a chandelier that you can use to brighten a space in your home or patio! For this DIY, there are only a few simple steps to follow. You will need to first find a wood plank in the size desired, rope for 4 corners, metal hooks, metal chains, and mason jars. Attach the rope to the plank by drilling holes in all 4 corners and tying knots in the rope through the holes. You will also need to screw in the metal hooks so that the jars have something sturdy to latch onto. Once the plank is ready, you can begin to attach the chains onto the mason jars with a hot glue gun. Then input candles or your desired light source into the jars. Now that everything is assembled, you can hang the jars from the hooks on the plank, and tie the ropes above the space where you want the chandelier to be placed. Now that you have a few wooden plank ideas, you can start creating your own products! We hope you’ve enjoyed our DIY projects and have a blast making your own!
