New Year's Party Checklist From A Designer

We have just a few days left to get everything together! Don't you think a New Year's party checklist would help? We sure did, so while we are going through our steps and getting ready for our party, we thought it would help others if we shared our checklist! Be ready to have a stress-free and enjoyable party!

Decorations

Don't be afraid to use sequins! It's New Year's! Everything can be flashy. Some important items in the decorations include tablecloths, glitter confetti, balloons, and string lights. (String lights make everything feel magical.)

Entertainment

An amazing and creative backdrop with a ton of props for a New Year's photo booth is an absolute must! Make sure it's fun and makes everyone want to celebrate, of course. Don't forget about the sound system and speakers playing the awesome playlist you created, and with personal hashtags becoming such a fad, why not create a hashtag for your party? Let's not forget that most important entertainment of the whole night...watching the ball drop! Don't let anything block the TV, and make sure there are places to sit if guests want to sit down to watch the festivities on TV.

Food & Drinks

You can't forget the champagne! Put together a little side plate of champagne garnishes including a fruit variety and rock candy. Champagne is always complemented with sweet and savory foods, so keep that in mind. Make sure the food table is decorated with noisemakers and confetti poppers. Those always make for a good time!

Have fun at your New Year's party, and Happy New Year!
