Scandinavian design style is moving and trending all over the world! It started in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and Denmark and is now making a huge hit in America! The whole design style is based on simplicity and minimalism and the thought that everything beautiful used in decor should also be functional. What a great way of thinking, right?! That's one of the reasons we're absolutely loving this look. So today, we're showing you how to achieve the Scandinavian interior design style!

As you can see, it uses A LOT of white, but that's what gives it the simple, fresh look. You can add in color with a basic light pendant or with some extra decor that we'll show in a bit.

You can see the bed with the extra drawers was made for style and function as well as the chair below it. All the other pieces kept their simple look and take up as little of space as possible.

Here is where you can throw in a few pops of color. Incorporate it into your artwork. These two rounded sculptures with the colorful women on them are very Scandinavian and work really well in an almost all white room.
