So, providing as a bridge over the pond, I am giving the floor to Andy Stevens of Cheshire Office Interiors to tell us all about UK's premier trade show! All are we are asking for is a plane ticket ;;)
Interiors UK is the UK's largest interiors event for lifestyle, furniture and design. It will be held from the 19
th to the 22
nd of January 2014 at the NEC Birmingham from 9am until 6pm, apart from on Wednesday 22
nd, when the event closes early at 5pm.At the event you can see exhibitors and sections of the event which are segmented off into these categories:
- Design Elegance
- Fabric
- Contemporary Design
- Flooring
- Decor
- Lighting
- Living Lifestyle
When at the event you can browse halls one to five at the NEC which are filled with more than 600 exhibitors. In hall one will be the design elegance and fabric part of the event. It includes some of the most beautiful and desirable pieces of design from coveted interior suppliers and manufacturers.Hall 2 will include the contemporary design and flooring section which showcases some of the best furniture at the forefront of modern design.
Hall three will include décor and lighting, featuring a huge range of decorative accessories including garden items, glass mirrors, pictures and prints along with curtains, soft furnishings, pillows and linen to name a few features.As well as all this, hall four and five will host the living lifestyle part of Interiors UK. This includes the lounge, dining and bedroom furniture designs which combine practical function with comfort and style. In this part of the event you will be able to find your practical essentials with playful functionality with stylish comfort for your living room, bedroom, kitchen or study.The event consists of interior products from big brands, international trendsetters, leading furniture manufacturers and brand new, exciting designers. All of this will be set in the 200,000 square metre indoor space in which the NEC offers in the city of Birmingham.If you are staying for the full event, you may want to book a hotel. Nearby there are multiple hotels including the Hilton Metropole, Ramada Encore, Crowne Plaza, Arden Hotel & Leisure Club and the Premier Inn NEC.British Furniture Manufacturers or BFM are the official show partner ahead of 65 other partners which include companies such as FIRA, British Institute of Interior Design, Design Exchange and MD International.Interiors UK 2014 is set to be one of the best interior design exhibitions and events of the year, due to the fact that it includes more than 600 high calibre exhibitors and some of the best interior products on the market in one of the biggest and best exhibition centres in the UK.Will we see you there?
