Transform Your Walls
All white is getting to be a bit played out, don’t you think? Instead of keeping all of your walls white, why not make at least one accent wall (or maybe a few)?! Having that one wall that just stands out and makes a statement can really transform the vibe of your space. Sometimes, all white can feel too clean or too professional, so add a little bit of personality and character to your space by putting a dash of spice onto one of your walls. How exactly should you add this creativity to your walls you ask? That’s exactly what you have us for! We have a few cool and crazy ways to add some fun to your wall space that we’re sure you’ll fall in love with!
We know that ombre effect has been pretty popular in design and beauty recently, so why not bring that trend into your home as well?! If you’re a fan of the ombre look, then this idea is perfect for your wall space. Use wood and paint to create this ombre chevron print on one of your walls to bring in a bit of creativity and style. For this project, you will need wooden pieces that will need to be cut into slanted rectangles and paint, the color of your choice. Then, you will have to decide on what the size and exact shape you want all of your shapes to be so you can make your own stencil to make sure that the painted shapes are precise and consistent. Once you have all of your supplies and your plan is all mapped out, you can begin assembling your wall! After this, the rest is pretty much self-explanatory. Pin up your wooden pieces to their designated place on the wall, and then, start painting! Before you know it, your new ombre-chevron wall will be a completed masterpiece!
Our next project is going to be easier but requires a little bit more precision and attention to detail. You’re going to have to be patient with this one if you want it to turn out just right! For this design, we are going to expand the paint to the ceiling for a visually appealing effect. The paint will look neverending and add a unique twist to your space! It will definitely be a great conversation starter that’s guaranteed to catch everyone’s attention. It’ll be the talk of the room! This project will take some time and a lot of work, but it’s definitely worth it! To begin, you will need painters tape and a few paint colors of your choice. You can use a few colors or a whole rainbow of colors. It’s completely up to you! Once you have your colors picked, all you have to do is line up the tape and get started!
