Day 13: Chandeliers

We’ve been dying to give our thanks for chandeliers all month.

Are you as excited as we are?

Chandeliers are unique lighting fixtures that are both functional and stylish. And who an deny their refined sense of elegance and sophistication?!

Whether it be classic or whimsical, a great chandelier has the ability to not only provide ample lighting, but also to set the ambiance and tone of an interior that can transform an entire space. With intriguing curves and endless embellishments, they are they most appealing type of ceiling art for any home — and can turn any drab atmosphere to a warm and inviting one with the flick of a switch.

Bronze chandeliers add character and rustic beauty, while silver and crystal lights make tend to be more classic and understated.

The size and scale of a chandelier is crucial to the overall look of a room. For small rooms like bedrooms and bathrooms, a chandelier with a diameter of less than 20″ is ideal. Larger spaces, including dining rooms and foyers, are more equipped to showcase lights anywhere from 20″-36″ or larger.

Take a look at some our favorite chandeliers from a few vendors we represent:
