We are obsessing over this color, Sharkskin. It was an amazing pick by Pantone, because this color is super edgy and has a definite “bad girl” look to it, but the color is still a gray which means it’s remaining a neutral and can still go along well with most colors. You really can pair it with almost any color. Pantone describes it as “a color that the rest of the palette can literally and theoretically rest on.” It has a very contemporary vibe to it, but is still practical and stable.
We feel as though this color is geared more towards fashion and clothing design for this fall, but sharkskin can definitely be applied to interior design as well in a very chic way. Just keep looking through these pictures!
Use this color to update your kitchen cabinets! This is sure to look beautiful in most every home. No harm in giving it a try!
Maybe you don’t want to include a lot in your design at home but just add a little bit such as bringing in this comfy, cozy couch. It ties in the color without going overboard.
