We love having mirrors in our homes because it makes each room appear so much larger. Mirrors are our best friends in small spaces, so we always want to keep up with latest trends to know which one would look best in each room. There are 5 different mirror types: the typical square/rectangle, circle, floor, geometric, and vintage.

Square / Rectangle

This will work in any room, any time. It is typical and safe, but can still be trendy.

This mirror has a very modern feel. You can go with a bronze or gold frame to give it an elegant, sleek look, or combine the mirror with a wooden frame to keep it casual and not over-the-top modern.

Floor

Who doesn’t want a floor length mirror? Really. You will use this daily and is a huge decorative piece. It’s very easy to update by just painting and changing the frame, and this mirror will be a piece you will keep forever. You will never let this accent piece go.

Geometric

This type of mirror is still pretty simple, but because of the shape, it’s also very trendy with a huge impact.

Vintage

This type will be perfect in your hollywood glam styled room. This one piece has so much personality and can easily get along with many items in a room. You can lean it up against a wall or hang it up; just be careful on how heavy it is.

Try some new mirrors in each room and just watch how big of an impact it has on every room!

Throughout our travels this past weekend we stumbled upon Jessica Alba’s California home that was recently featured in a number of articles and online posts such as Domainehome.com and Huffington Post.

Now we all know of Ms. Alba’s fabulous acting and modeling career, but many are not aware of her other talents, number one on her list is being a mother to her two wonderful girls, Honor and Haven. These girls have done more than simply bring joy to Jessica and husband Cash’s lives they have inspired a new booming company, top selling book, and ultimately the California home renovation. The multimillion dollar home was already in beautiful shape but Jessica and Cash wanted to make the family home more eco-friendly with a vintage touch. Check out some of the photos below and see for yourself how beautiful this eclectic styled house truly is.

We love all the accessories not only complete the look they all have a story of their own.

The unique/random pieces really help make this house feel more cozy and family-oriented, two feelings Jessica was striving to achieve with this renovation.

The kid’s rooms are really our favorite spaces of this home, they are kid friendly with out being to theme-oriented, helping the girls grow along with the rooms. And of course we never turn down adding that necessary splash of pink to any space!!
