So what are some of the cool trends in home design for Summer 2015? It’s all about color, geometrics and copper accessories! Here’s a sample of some of Sherwin Williams’ color picks for 2015. The ranges of colors go from soft pastel to smoky hues, but they all have a wonderful soothing quality.
Here are some great fabric selections from our own studio that tie into this summer’s color trend. These fun, geometric patterns can be used for draperies, table runners or pillows. Whether you prefer the darker color tones in your décor, or want to lighten it up with a pastel, try pairing it up a neutral tone with a metallic sheen. This adds an element of light and sophistication.
Here’s another great way to add fun geometric design to your home. We love these beautiful vases and home décor. The geometric shelving looks great in any paint color or stained wood tone. You can even try some of the beautiful pastel colors that are trending this summer.
Need to add a little “shine” to your space? Copper accessories are another great new trend that we really love! This elegant copper based table lamp is a great way to bounce a little extra light around a dark corner. Copper trays and platters can be used in unique ways as well. They can be used as table top tray or you can try arranging them on a wall in to add some visual interest. We also love how these copper drawer pulls give this dresser that little touch of shine and modern elegance.
Now that summer is here, it’s time to rejuvenate your home! You can easily modernize and refresh your décor without breaking the bank. Try adding some of the new, fabulous, colors of the season with pillows or try painting an old piece of furniture. You can also get playful with some great geometric patterns in rugs or new drapes.
